Pecos Bill's Jamboree

When the greatest cowboy in Texas lore decides to throw a party, you get Pecos Bill's Jamboree a country fair that includes rides, rollercoasters and midway games.

Activities

Rides include:

Captain Conroe's Crazy Cabin was the hunting cabin of an area settler. But nobody realized how crazy he may have been with seemingly magical rooms that shrink occupants, rooms where the laws of gravity don't apply, a maze of mirrrors and more.

Nothing beats the hot Houston summer like The Gusher, an oil rig that shoots comfortably cool water 20 feet into the air.

To test your own sharpshooting skills, you'll want to visit the Crackshot Shooting Gallery and take your aim at a high score.

Dining

Pecos Bill's Jamboree at Grand Texas has two great eating choices in addition to a number of carts and specialty items that are available.

Cocina Feliz has a great selection of Tex Mex and Mexican food choices with everything from Fajitas made in front of you to Tamales cooked fresh everyday.

The Rig should probably be referred to as entertainment, because The Rig has slow cooked, open pit barbecure cooked right out in plain view. Your senses will experience overload at the sight, smell and eventual taste of tender, succulent brisket, links, and ribs. There are turkey legs and roasted corn as well as some of the best potato salad in Texas.

Diners sit with a view of The Gusher, alongside the river, providing a relaxed environment, so you can savor the slow cooked masterpiece.

At Pecos Bill's Jamboree you also find traditional fair foods like crisp funnel cakes, fluffy cotton candy, sweet kettler corn and a variety of Grand Texas' own unique treats.
